When you add a sender’s email address to your “Allowed List”, it tells GoDaddy webmail to never mark messages from that sender as spam. You can also modify your spam filter settings to have suspected messages delivered to your inbox with a “SPAM” label (instead of going to your spam folder) or to turn off spam filtering altogether. To help keep important email messages out of your GoDaddy email spam folder, you can set up allowed senders which prevents messages from those senders from ever being marked as spam. For the first time, I am beginning to rethink that.Add an email address to your GoDaddy Workspace Email white list or safe sender list

I have been a customer of Godaddy, at the recommendation of a friend who's a web developer, since 2007. And if I need help, it should be CONVENIENTLY available, without my having to TALK to customer service. Seems like a standard procedure that I should be able to follow with some straightforward online instructions. I need to just jump in, set up the email, and start using it. I want to set up my domain, but I have neither the time nor the interest in making everything ready for a website, which is months away.
Godaddy email setup outlook workspace Offline#
Why do I need to TALK to somebody at godaddy to get help? Chat is offline for most of the 168 hours of the week, and there's no email support, no FAQ, where's the instruction page for setting things up for the different levels of service? The other alternative, as another poster pointed out, is the cost of making an international phone call. My most urgent priority is setting up email, but my international location makes the reduced chat hours extremely inconvenient. And I have just purchased the Deluxe web hosting for my domain, which includes 100 email addresses. I agree with the above objections, because I'm experiencing the same problems in getting support. I issues with the whole new layout of domain management as well. This is what we had to deal with in the 90's. Frankly, help is very insufficient and the absence of a good pipeline for non-telephone support is unacceptable. Today's technology demands better than this and it should not be a standard "Call Customer Support" when proper documentation still works. This appears to be an old generation foundation for email systems. My partner set his up on Outlook Desktop and it completely wiped clean all other emails and history.

With the new email, I set up on my Android and it worked fine. It wiped out all the previous emails with this address. When the first new email account was setup through mobile email on my Android. Seems like the purchasing part of Go Daddy always works perfectly when collecting payment. Instead of the time hassle, I purchased two new accounts with the same email address and Go Daddy allowed me to do that. No activity to or from.įor some reason my account showed there was no ownership of these accounts although I had used them for 6 months or more. The first time the email account suddenly went dark. This is the 2nd odd occurrence with this account and email.

We have multiple email accounts running on Outlook at the same time and this one is for a new company with the domain setup with Go Daddy. I do not understand why this is such an issue. When he went to outlook to set it up, it wiped out ALL other email accounts that were set. I just purchased another domain email account for an associate. Godaddy has been around forever, but still hasn't bothered to create the most basic FAQs, glossary, and instructions. Nonetheless, a warning pops up saying that I must fill in an email address. I can't type in the boxes with an email address or forwarding address. Even though a form pops up, which might or might not have something to do with creating email addresses. but before I clicked something to change the "MX" and get rid of the useless Google app forwarding. it might have a different password, hard to make sense of it. I could be wrong, but it looks like I could try something else in this folder to make them work.

No, messages sent to those addresses didn't go into my gmail spam box.

I had to change the DNS pointers or whatever. Anyway, more than several years ago, I attempted to attach these addresses with Google apps. I have two email addresses in this Webspace,um, folder that contain one of several domains I own (none of which I have ever been able to set up so to forward to my gmail address). Who is eligible for it? (FAQ 2) How did I end up with it? (FAQ 3). What is this Workspace Webmail thing then? (there is your first FAQ). Why don't you create some very, very elementary guide to your email offerings? I don't understand what you mean by domain names not coming with email addresses.
